This week, my dad and I went to downtown Ann Arbor after dance so I could take pictures of architecture. We drove around (because it was too cold to walk) until I found buildings that were cool or interesting to take pictures of. I went to a few different buildings and took the photos from many different angles. For the editing I slightly turned up the saturation and sometimes the vibrance, I did a few other things also but not to my best photo. I learned to look at my photos carefully after I take them because they may turn out different than you think. Best Photo Aperture: f/6.3 Shutter Speed:1/25 ISO: 100

For this assignment, we had to get in a group of three and take two different pictures, one with window lighting and one with the professional lighting Mr.Bush set up. For the window picture we had to have one person be the subject, one holding the bouncer, and one taking the photo. For the more professional one we just needed a subject and a photographer.
This week, I shot for the category open. I went to Wiard's Orchard and I took pictures that reminded me of fall such as, the pumpkins and animals they had there. I learned during this photo assignment that you can make a picture more interesting by trying different things and adding objects. For the editing of all of these I turned up the saturation a little bit and sometimes I slightly turned up the vibrance. Best photo: Aperture: f/4.0 Shutter Speed: 1/4000 ISO: 800 This week, I shot for the category black & white. This was the hardest one so far because my camera was being weird and acting different and I had a hard time finding interesting objects to shoot that wouldn't look boring. I learned that I need to plan ahead, be patient, and try to figure things out by myself before asking. I edited a smudge out of the left corner with the clone stamp tool & I transferred it into black & white. Best Photo Aperture: f/4.5 Shutter Speed: 1/160 ISO: 100 For this assignment, we had to edit a car another student took a picture of. We had to make the car darker and tint the windshield by a lot of different tools on photoshop. I learned that photoshop is more complicated then I thought but if you listen to directions carefully and slowly then it should be fine.
This week, I shot the category macro. For this I went in my backyard and I saw these really pretty pink flowers that I never even knew were back there. But luckily they were there so it made it easier for me to shoot macro. I had fun shooting this because it was a sunny day and I got to try new methods like brining out a spray bottle to spray a few of the flowers with water. Some things I found out during this was that I had this small statue of a frog and today I realized there was a bee in on one of the flowers that I shot. Best PhotoAperture: f3.2 Shutter Speed: 1/800 ISO: 100 For this assignment, I shot the category people. I took about 50 shots of my sister outside of my house. I made her be my model but she didn't really complain so that was good. During this "photoshoot" I had her put on 3 different outfits: Ohio State jersey, Saline jersey, and a dress with heels which she could barley stand in because they were mine and they were too tall for her. I also had her use 3 different props: Ohio State football, Saline football, and an earn of my mom. I had lots of fun doing this because it was a nice day so I got to be outside and enjoy it while taking pictures! I also had trouble figuring out how to change my shutter and aperture on my camera at home so I learned how to do that. Best Photo: Aperture: f/2.4 Shutter Speed: 1/1250 ISO: 100 |
